Jirau network of agroecology: a strategic innovation for social mobilization in the lower Tocantins - PA

Networks of social organizations refers to a set amidst many organizational processes. This work has the objective to analyze the possibilities of social innovation in the context of a network of organizations, business and movements linked to family farmers in the territory of the lower Tocantins- PA. For this, we used the structural theory of social network and the potential for occurrence of bilateral relationships. To obtain information that presented the greatest accuracy possible, it was used as guiding practices to analyze documentary and onsite. It is understood that the Jirau Network of agroecology innovates in its organizational structure and dynamics, since it constitutes of different social actors, among them stands the company Natura, IFPA, APACC e UCODEP as well as in its relationship with the partners. Organizationally, it is evident as a multidirectional network, because it denotes a dynamism apparent, with horizontalizados and decentralised decision-making processes.
