ADEPT: a Tool for Developing Synthesis Skills

摘要：
A teaching system, ADEPT, has been developed to assist students to understand and apply the DECIDE framework for planning an interface evaluation. This planning activity is an example of a synthesis problem solving task. To assist students to develop the skills required to produce sophisticated plans, a scenario-based system which provides scaffolding was built. Related work was considered in order to ensure educational objectives were met. Technical issues and the role of authoring are also addressed.
