摘要：

Based on the data of 75 questionnaires, this paper analyzes the relationship and influential factors between Intellectual Property(IP) capability and performance in information technology(IT) firms. The results show that IP capability and performance in IT firms have significant positive correlativity. Simultaneously, sources of competitiveness and scale of IT firm affect the relationship between IP capability and performance. But inconsistent with common sense, this paper shows that the relationship between IP capability and performance in the firms without patents is stronger than those which have patents.
