Simulation and research of PMSM with stator inter-turn faults

摘要
A model of three phase permanent-magnet synchronous motor (PMSM) is presented to analyze inter-turn faults on the stator, which is obtained by transforming the original phase axes model of PMSM. This model is used to diagnose the fault when the parameters of the motor's stator are unbalance. The fault simulation model of PMSM is established by using Matlab/Simulink to analyze the stator current. The result shows that when the number of shorted turns reaches a definite degree, the corresponding stator current's virtual value increases obviously.
