A process for acquiring knowledge while sharing knowledge

This study produces and evaluates a process that aims to bring out the tacit competence within professionals so that others can use it, The main conclusion in this study is that using a seminar based on interviews for bringing out tacit competence works and can be recommended. The seminar has been developed gradually through prototyping. Two larger evaluation studies have been performed as well as smaller informal studies. The results from the two test seminars as well as results from interviews and questionnaires have been analysed and compared with established criteria to measure the success of the proposed process. The competence brought out during the test seminars has been found easy to understand and predicted to be useful.
