Research on protocol of multi-agent based automated negotiation in electronic-commerce

Automated Negotiation has become increasingly important since the advent of E-Commerce. Instead of a fixed price, the negotiation can gives a flexible price of the merchandise that can maximize the payoffs of both buyers and sellers. Automated Negotiation is different form NSS or on-line auctions, it has special advantages in E-Commerce. However, there are some difficulties in automated negotiation, such as protocols, strategies and learning mechanism. In this paper, we focus on the protocols of automated negotiation, give a survey of the new advancements on this domain and describe a protocol model that are feasible and clear.
