摘要：
In the paper are presented the authors' research on the design of a robust control system for the quality of benzene obtained by a distillation process. Initially, the distillation column control structure is presented, followed by the analysis of existing automation systems. Modelling and steady-state simulation aimed the calibration of the mathematical model and the sensitivity analysis of the process. Based on this analysis, requirements for the automatic control system have been identified. Dynamic modelling and simulation of the column equipped with the basic control systems was a third stage of the research, the stage being performed using a powerful simulation tool. The robust quality control system design has two components: feedback control system and feedforward control system.
