A rare case of duodenal neuroendocrine tumor with hepatic metastasis

A 36-year-old woman with a past medical history of cholecystectomy presented with recurrent pain in the right quadrant of the abdomen over a 6-year period. She reported a 10-day history of aggravated abdominal pain, nausea, and vomiting. During the past few years, she had undergone esophagogastroduodenoscopy (EGD) several times, which all revealed an ulcer at the upper corner of the duodenum. However, no biopsy was performed because it was considered a benign lesion. She received a variety of treatment modalities, including the eradduodenal ulcer bleeding.
