摘要
An indoor service robot based on the PC and ATMEGA128 single-chip microcomputer is designed and brought into effect. The details about how to configure the hardware and software of the control system of the robot are described in the paper. The software is compiled by language C under the Codevision AVR. In addition, a data frame receiver program is compiled by Visual C++6.0 on PC to implement the communication between the PC and the sing-chip microcomputer. The PC control software controls the robot using the wireless communication module so that more functions can be provided by the service robot. The robot can detect harmful gases and send alarms, implements the remote real-time monitoring, autonomously walk along the track or walk under manual control, identify rooms, and hold, move and haul articles using the mechanical hand.
