摘要
In order to analyze & improve the competitiveness of Steel Industry in Hebei Province, GMDH models (group method of data handling) are used to compare with other 4 provinces or cities, that is Beijing, Shanghai, Liaoning & Sichuan. First of all, the competitive modes can be obtained with the method of GMDH, and more, the weights of our evaluation indexes can be given automatically, then with this index system we can classify the 5 provinces or cities at different terms by their competitiveness through the Analog Complex method. The results of our analysis are that though Hebei province is a large one in steel industry, it is not as strong as Shanghai & Liaoning, so there are more needed to do to improve their competitiveness.
