摘要：

This paper reports the analysis of the essential oils of the crude medicinal materials and commercial extraction powder of Hypericum perforatum L., which has been studied as a popular medicinal herb of antidepression in the whole world. The percentage of the essential oil extract from crude medicinal materials is 0.4% (mL in 100 g materials). Forty-one and fourteen compounds were isolated and identified from the essential oils of the crude medicinal materials and commercial extraction powder respectively. The result shows: because of the different producing area and different part of H. perforatum, the medicinal effect of oil preparations which mostly consist of essential oil of H. perforatum may be different.
