A numerical model for magneto-mechanical coupled problems

摘要
A numerical model for transient magneto-elastic problems is presented. A time stepping solver is included in a non-linear iterative scheme to allow rite bi-directional coupling consideration. The 3D FEM solver is divided into Jour operations: An eddy current problem is solved with a t - phi formulation, with edge and nodal elements. Local application of virtual work principle is used to calculate magnetic force distribution. This is put in the mechanical problem, solved with modal equations. The deformation and the movement of the structures are taken into account by moving the nodes of the mesh with the computed displacements, with Lagrangian form in the magnetic solver. The model has been validated on a TEAM workshop problem.
