摘要：
This contribution describes partial results of the survey, which was conducted in the context of investigating the readiness of selected companies in the Czech Republic to implement the principles being referred to by the general term - the industry 4.0. The main objective of the survey was to analyze the level of a basic knowledge of this topic in enterprises, as well as its application in practice, and the readiness of companies, in terms of the existence of appropriate strategies, responsible persons, and the general awareness among employees. Investigations were carried out in cooperation with the Tomas Bata University in Zlin.
