Elementis, a specialty chemicals company, uses global incident reporting and investigation as a key tool for improvements in health, safety and environmental (HS&E) performance. Success has come through attention to the way in which the system was implemented as well as the incident investigation process itself The system is based around a corporate electronic database deployed at all levels throughout the Company worldwide, There has been a marked and continuing improvement in HSE performance.
