摘要：
The purpose of this article is to present a case study of sustainable development in Curacao, which is a small developing Caribbean island coping with globalization. The article contributes to the development of a framework for the discussion of sustainable development of Small Island Developing States. In Curacao there are many positive conditions present to support sustainable development. On the other hand, policies that support sustainable development are also needed.
