As an important form of trade to maintain national import and export trade growth, cross-border e-commerce has drawn attention of different countries. Cross-border e-commerce between the two traditional trade partners, China and Japan, has been developing steadily in recent years. However, many contradictions are gradually exposed and start to restrain the Sino-Japan e-commerce development, which is not consistent with the urgent requirement of development. Among these contradictions, those in cross-border online shopping are especially obvious. The domestic study of cross-border online shopping between the two countries is not sufficient. This article aims to systemically summarize the report of the research institutions from both countries, find out the major problems restraining the cross-border online shopping based on the analysis of the present situation and put forward corresponding solutions.
