What is the demand for audiological and vestibular rehabilitation after surgery for vestibular schwannoma?

摘要：
A review of the published literature in the light of recent data indicates that there is handicap associated with hearing loss, tinnitus and imbalance post surgery for vestibular schwannoma. Therapy is available for each of these symptoms, namely appropriate amplification and auditory training, tinnitus retraining therapy and vestibular rehabilitation. The use of such therapies in this patient group is advocated.
