摘要：
The paper begins with a summary of soil mechanics education background and TC4 activities. The results of a questionnaire survey on education on earthquake geotechnical engineering are presented and discussed. Also physical models, computer aids and case histories for teaching are addressed. Some important issues related with continuing education, regulation and codes and needs are presented.
