摘要
Local governments play an important role in the Eastern Economic Corridor (EEC) development due to their responsibility for administration affairs. Their websites are therefore the digital portal providing useful information to users with different kinds of skills and abilities. Thus, these websites have to be accessible and usable. This research aimed to evaluate 10 local government websites that locate in the EEC area using standardized tools and methods automatically and manually. In the evaluation, 4 aspects were examined, namely Availability, Mobile Device Readiness, Accessibility, and Usability. The results show that most of these local government websites have a moderate efficiency on download speed and content representation. They also have a fair quality on accessibility and usability. In terms of providing useful and accessible information, they have to be revised and improved.
