摘要：

A study on maximizing scale removal from wire rod by removing of the oxides before drawing in large part discussed. A relationship between the color of scale was determined after its mechanical removal. The method of scale removal was based on 5-7% tensions of the specimens. The removal of scale was evaluated on the basis of the degree of its removal (%) and the quantity of oxides remaining after tension (g/kg,kg/ton). It was observed that the degree of removal of the oxides exceeded 90% in 99.6% of the cases, 95% in 90.5% of the cases and 97% in 69.3% ofthe cases.
