摘要
The work deals with the improvement of methods for thermal processing of organic wastes to obtain carbon sorbents with developed porous structure. Oxidized lignosulphonates (LST), a commercial waste of vanillin production, as well as technical lignosulphonates has been used as the raw material. It has been found that, for forming the porous structure of carbon materials on the basis of oxidized LST, the use of additional activizing agents is not necessary. Sodium compounds leached from carbonized products can be used for preparing of the cooking "liquor". To elucidate the problem of the effect of inorganic salts upon the pyrolysis process of oxidized LST, model tests were performed, in which non-oxidized LST with the addition of sodium carbonate and sulphate have been used. As a result, it has been shown that exactly these mineral salts promote the formation of the structure of activated charcoals on the basis of oxidized LST.
