摘要
In self-configured ad hoc networks, which is composed of information sources and user mobile devices (like BIONETS [1]) the data dissemination is based on two kinds of communication: communication among mobile devices and between information sources and mobile devices. The communication among mobile devices can be solved by some existing algorithms and methods based on the broadcast medium. In the case of other communication, information sources can broadcast their data towards mobile devices using pull or push model. However, the results show that none of these models is scaleable or energy-efficient when the number of mobile devices around sources is not constant. In this paper, we present a promising hybrid functioning scheme of information sources, combining the pull and push models, which can be more energy-efficient and scalable when the traffic of mobile sources changes.
