Thermal properties of polyimide foam composites

摘要
New foam polyimide (FPI) binders provide the possibility of obtaining lighter composites than conventional polymer composites based on continuous carbon or organic fibers. The thermal insulation properties of new foam composites were compared with those of polymer composites based on continuous fibers and pure polyimide foam. The commercial felts used were based on carbon, Aramid T and Oxalon type fibers.
