摘要
The results of an investigation of the effect of grain size and varying degree of transformability on the slurry erosion behavior of CeO-stabilized tetragonal zirconia polycrystals (Ce-TZP) are presented. The influence of erodent particle hardness and slurry velocity on erosion rates was examined. X-ray diffraction analysis and scanning electron microscopy of the eroded surfaces provide insights into the erosion mechanism in the materials.
