摘要
There are many pension solutions in Poland such as the general system, the provision system and the agricultural system. In each of these pension systems there are privileges for selected groups. The objective of this paper was to assess the pension systems in Poland in terms of their adequacy which can be considered in three dimensions: the consumption smoothing, protecting against poverty and differences between the genders. The analysis indicates the occurrence of significant differences between individual systems, which result from the extensive pension privileges for selected groups. The conducted assessment shows that only the provision pension system is fully adequate. Other analyzed systems firstly, are not fully adequate, and secondly, the adequacy is not equal. Significant inequalities in the adequacy or its complete absence indicate that building one, uniform, coherent pension system in Poland requires the introduction of many systemic actions.
