摘要
Low molecular weight deproteinised natural rubber (LDPNR) was prepared by a new oxidative method using K2S2O8, and butanal as an organic solvent (swelling method). The efficiency of degradation was characterized by dilute solution viscosity and FTIR. The morphology and particle size were investigated by TEM. It was shown that the addition of organic solvent to DPNR latex increased the degradation rate. Therefore, the reduction in molecular weight of DPNR depends on the swelling effect. By this degradation method reduced side reaction due to crosslinking were observed.
