Selected problems of management in academic institutions in Poland

This paper presents the problem of management in a university through the initiation of financial management. in the basins of data, the source and amount of cash flow being the revenue of the university have been analysed. The types of costs in a university have been defined together with their source while presented based on the example of a cost structure analysis in two chosen universities. The problems of setting out a cost program as well as controlling discipline in its realisation have also been discussed. The research has also referred to the problems of management of financial aid for students and the direction of its realisation.
