摘要
Rapid Prototyping can considerably reduce the time required to bring a product to the market. The fact, that the realisation of a concept into a real product can be accelerated by this method, has led to the increasing industrial significance of RP techniques. The fundamental requirements of all RP techniques are 3D CAD data. Amongst these models, visualisation, communications, process and functional models can be distinguished. Up to the present time, a range of RP techniques have been explored, which are elaborated in the following report.
