摘要
The following paper is aimed at developing a 2.4 GHz application specific circular patch antenna with multiple rectangular slots, circular parasitic element in the ground plane along with a simple rectangular ground patch. The dimensions of the antenna are 25mm*20mm*1.5mm with Annealed copper used as conductor of 0.018 mm thickness along with FR-4 substrate having electrical permittivity of 4.3 and loss tangent of 0.025. The compact size of the antenna and its operation frequency of 2.4 GHz make it suitable for Wi-Fi, WiMAX, Bluetooth and ISM Radio band applications. The details about design and its simulated results are discussed in the paper.
