Fault detection of inverter-fed motor drive systems based on Kalman filter

摘要
A new real-time fault detection method for inverter-fed motor drive systems based on Kalman filter is presented. The state-space model of the drive system is established by analysis output signals of inverter, and the real-time unbiased estimation of the fundamental positive sequence symmetrical component is performed based on Kalman filter. The fundamental spectral residue is generated by comparing the fundamental symmetrical component of the practical system with ideal system without fault. In the end, the fault decision-making function is defined and the real-time online fault can be detected.
