Therapeutic application of tamoxifen and its side effects

摘要：
Tamoxifen, an anti-oestrogen drug, was used for human breast cancer patients. Of these 66% developed endometrial polyps compared with those who did not take tamoxifen but had uterine bleeding. The mechanism of action of tamoxifen in the light of its action as an agonist as well as an antagonist is discussed.
