摘要
The exacerbated expression, the grieving melancholy or the longing for the lost are some of the basic melodramatic features that live on ploughing through ages and representational spaces until appearing in contemporary cinema. The magnetic structure of melodrama remains transformed in the analysed works throughout this present issue. This introduction tries to address the main characteristics associated to melodrama through the articles included in the Notebook section.
