摘要
The teaching-learning process in higher education has various organizational forms, all important for the development of the curriculum of a given career. It adopts a varied typology: conference, practical class, seminar, meeting, in correspondence with the objectives to be achieved and the modality of studies. The class contributes to the integral formation of the students through the unity of the instructive and the educational; however, in the educational practice, deficiencies are detected as far as the methodological structure of theoretical classes or conferences and practical classes, which affects the adequate development of the teaching-learning process. It is proposed as an objective: to present methodological suggestions on the development of theoretical and practical classes in higher education to favor the formative process of the students. In its elaboration, methods of the theoretical and empirical levels are used, which allow the determination of theoretical-methodological foundations, the elaboration of the result and the conclusions. These show that the use in educational practice of the methodological suggestions elaborated, for the development of theoretical and practical classes in higher education, have favored the formative process of the students by making possible the acquisition of knowledge, the development of skills and essential values in their future profession.
