摘要
The governance structure of insurance companies has a very important impact on the operation of insurance companies. The research on corporate governance structure is also a very important content in the academic circle. The analysis of this paper is based on the insurance industry in China. Then I collected several major insurance companies' operating data in China's insurance market, collected major insurance companies' information disclosure such as Ping an Insurance Group, Pacific Insurance Company and analyzed China's major insurance company governance structure. Besides, I selected ROA to measure the efficiency of insurance companies. Then I selected some governance structure variables such as board size, proportion of directors with legal background, proportion of independent directors, proportion of female director, the leadership structure of director board and so on. Using the regression analysis model, I analyzed the relationship between efficiency and the variables of insurance companies. Through the above analysis, we want to get the efficiency of the insurance companies, and the relationship between the efficiency of the insurance companies and the variables of corporate governance structure. So the insurance company can compare the factors that affect the efficiency of the insurance company with their own operating conditions, which can help companies achieve the purpose of improving the governance structure of insurance companies.
