摘要：
Rural youth have different occupational experiences and expectations compared with urban youth, partially reflecting rural-urban differences in educational expectations and attainments. Education and occupational decisions are linked to rural-urban differences in geographic mobility and in patterns of moving out of the parental home. Gender influences these "pluri-transitions" as well as the way that rural-urban differences are experienced. The data suggest that rurality is not equated with deprivations as much as with difference.
