Crossover from non-Fermi liquid to Fermi liquid behavior in a spinless fermion model with quantum criticality

摘要
A model of spinless fermions with nested Fermi surface and a quantum critical point due to a charge density wave instability is considered. A ln(T) dependence of C/T and a linear T- dependence of the quasi- particle linewidth is obtained for the tuned quantum critical point. A crossover from Fermi liquid to non- Fermi liquid behavior is obtained with increasing T and nesting mismatch. The above has consequences for the dynamical conductivity and the neutron diffraction quasi- elastic peak of heavy fermions. (c) 2006 Elsevier B. V. All rights reserved.
