摘要
ASEA N Economic Community (AEC) is the phenomenon of globalization that will bring impact on the company's strategy. The purpose of this study is to analyze the strategic human resource planning in Indonesia in facing AEC. This study uses a quantitative method through survey technique with a total sample of 30 companies in Indonesia. The result indicates that companies in Indonesia will adjust to the dynamics of global recruitment strategy. Although the companies' strategy is still "neutral," but in the process of recruitment, management has plans to recruit work force from the managerial level of ASEAN countries to support its business expansion. In addition, the companies in Indonesia must select the workers with high level of self-adjustment, able to speak English either actively or passively, innovative, and being fast-learner to compete in AEC era.
