摘要
In this paper, A computational study is performed in this paper to investigate the influence of natural surfactant in a 90 degrees bend on the flow properties of heavy Crude Oil. In ANSYS Fluent, computational fluid dynamics (CFD) code is used to investigate the flow phenomena in horizontal pipe bends. A suitable approach for transporting heavy oil through pipes is blending of surfactant with heavy crude oil for 'core annular flow' (CAF). This analysis analyzes the core annular flow numerically using the Large Eddy Simulation (LES). The prime objective of present work is to achieve understanding of the actions of high-sulphur crude oil flow across turbulent core annular flow in transporting pipes line. High-sulphur crude oil blended and additives are the two-phases in horizontal pipe. (C) 2020 Elsevier Ltd. All rights reserved.
