摘要：
Attacks of wheezing during infancy and childhood are commonly associated with viral upper respiratory tract infections. This relationship has long been suspected by physicians who care for these children and by their parents. Recently, the development of more sensitive techniques to detect the presence of virus has led to a better understanding for the relationship between viral infections and wheezing. This article reviews recent advances along with their therapeutic and research implications.
