Time-resolved spectroscopic study on phase transitions

摘要
A new time-resolved phonon spectroscopy is applied to the study of dynamics of the phase transition in several dielectric materials, By the acoustic phonon excitation, the relaxation time was determined precisely for the order-disorder transition of the ferroelectric TGS, also for the orientational order-disorder transition of the nonpolar NH4Cl. The soft B-2 optic phonon of the ferroelectric KDP is excited to examine directly its time dependence as a function of temperature near the transition point.
