Simulation of Flow Conditions in the Inlet Plenum of a PWR Steam Generator

摘要
The flow in the pressurized water reactor steam generator inlet plenum and initial part of the tube bundle was simulated on the local instantaneous scale with a computational fluid dynamics code. The alleged spatial flow conditions (velocity and temperature fields) in the inlet plenum, for which experimental data are not available, are presented.
