摘要
Target recognition is the key step and the most challenging problem for missile defense. Compared with traditional radar, THz radar has great advantages, such as high range resolution, strong penetrating, low intercept probability and strong anti-interference ability, etc. Therefore, the research on missile target recognition based on THz radar is of great significance. In this paper, we did research on simulation, features extraction and recognition of missile target based on THz technology. Firstly, we study on simulation of dynamic THz radar characteristics based on the background of target recognition. Secondly, we presented some extraction methods of missile features using the following characteristics: radar cross section(RCS), high range resolution(HRRP). Next, we made use of a new confidence function to adjust weights of different features, which is suitable of lowing error recognition rates. At last, we used our methods to recognize missile target and demonstrate its' perform effectiveness.
