摘要：
STI and DUI modes introduced by Jensen, Lundvall et al. are the most scientific generalization of the innovation modes. Based on data Jensen, et al.(2004; 2005), this paper draws on the complementarity theory-based approach to analyze the complementarity between STI and DUI Our results show that the relationship between the STI and DUI modes is non-critical symmetric complementarity. The paper also explores the complementary innovation mechanism between the STI and DUI modes referring to contemporary theories about knowledge learning.
