摘要
The structural properties Of HfO2-doped Lithium Niobate crystals are investigated by micro-Raman spectroscopy and discussed in connection with measurements of birefringence variation, observed under green-light irradiation, in view of a possible utilization of these crystals as low-photorefractivity crystals for wavelength converters operating at room temperature. Micro-Raman measurements on crystals with different Hf content ranging from 2 mol% and 11 mol%, allow to prove the good crystalline quality with a structural disorder increasing linearly with increasing Hf content.
