Complexation of poly(acrylic acid) with hydroxypropylcellulose in aqueous solutions

摘要
The complexation of poly(acrylic acid) with hydroxypropylcellulose in aqueous solutions was studied. It was demonstrated that nonstoichiometric complexes stabilized through the cooperative system of hydrogen bonds form upon complexation. The solubility of polycomplexes was shown to be pH-dependent. The prospects for the application of interpolymer complexes as carriers of physiologically active compounds are considered.
