摘要
An overview of grazing user rights (GUR) assigned to households or to kin-related groups to more easily regulate access to grazing and other rangeland resources (water, fuel wood). Several alternative models of tenure are outlined. Three contrasting models were tested in Gansu as part of the World B ank/GEF-funded project. Implementation problems are discussed. There is a focus on an evaluation of a community based management plan involving 67 households grazing 1,170 ha in Gansu.
