摘要：
Knowledge management is a challenge to firms seeking competitive advantage on the eve or the 21st century. A recent survey reveals top Fortune 500 and Post 300 managers expect employee knowledge to be the most valuable intangible asset of their firm in 2000. Information systems can support knowledge management activities, however, IS researchers need to see how their efforts relate and how their tools and systems can be used to amass intellectual raw material, create intellectual capital assets, and leverage these assets for competitive advantage.
