Reliability Analysis of Passenger Brake System of Metro Vehicles Based on FTA

摘要
The paper focuses on the reliability of air brake system widely used on the metro vehicles in the urban rail, which is analyzed with fault-tree analysis method (FTA) in detail based on the description of the failure modes and effect analysis. Qualitative and quantitative characteristics of the system are evaluated, and then the simulation of the FTA model is deduced with the Monte Carlo Method based on the probabilistic and statistic distributions of the Basic Events lives. The result shows the distribution of the system life, and the parameter of the reliability distribution is calculated.
