摘要
The smart city makes use of information technology to integrate city systems and functions to optimize city management and services. In this paper, we treat the smart city as a Cyber-Physical-Social System (CPSS), which is a kind of heterogeneous complex network system. Since information diffusion is fundamental to complex network analysis, we would like to summarize information diffusion in CPSS, including features of information diffusion, its application in the field of smart city, and critical technologies of information diffusion modeling and analysis. Finally, we point out open research issues, challenges, and put forward the possible future direction for research of information diffusion in smart city CPSS.& nbsp; (c) 2021 Elsevier B.V.
