摘要
Software Defined Radio (SDR) is an emerging technology that has been an active research topic for over a decade. In a SDR, the same hardware can be used to perform different functions through loading different software. In order to implement the SDR, the software should comply with some specifications. Among these specifications the most famous one is the Software Communication Architecture (SCA) which is developed by US Military Joint Tactical Radio System (JTRS) Joint Program Office. The SCA imposes some limitations on the development of waveform software. In order to help to understand the main content of this paper better, the concepts of waveform and SCA are reviewed firstly. Aiming at the development of SDR waveform which implements the communication function, a flow of waveform development based on the software suite SCA Reference Implementation (SCARI) is proposed in this paper. The experimental result shows that this flow is reasonable and can guide our waveform development based on SCARI.
